How You’ll Help People

You help people live well at home and in the community. Tasks are practical, safe, and written down before each shift.

  • Personal care, morning and evening routines.

  • Daily tasks: meals, light cleaning, and shopping.

  • Community access: appointments, classes, and local outings.

  • Travel help: planned pick-ups, drop-offs, and Myki use.

  • Simple notes after each visit so the plan stays clear.

What Helps You Do Well In This Role

Clear communication matters to you. You are happy using a phone for notes and rosters. A full driver’s licence helps for getting to shifts on time.

You like people and keep your word. You can stay calm, think ahead, and follow a plan.

In short, you are:

  • Good with routine and clear steps.

  • Friendly, respectful, and steady in tone.

  • Confident with phones and simple record-keeping.

  • A full driver’s licence helps for many shifts.
